Initial Consultation
We begin by hosting a complimentary consultation online or in our office. We ask potential clients to bring along images showcasing your desired aesthetic, as well as a wish list and approximate budget. Following our discussion, our experienced team will tailor an optimal plan for the project. Furthermore, we'll provide a comprehensive overview of a past project, guiding the client through every step from concept to installation.

Design Proposal, Contract & Detailed Site Survey
Following the initial consultation, we'll craft a comprehensive proposal detailing the services' scope, estimated hours, and a projected start week considering our ongoing projects. To secure a start date, we kindly request a retainer. Upon acceptance of the proposal and signed contract, we'll prepare a design agreement for the client’s signature, along with a deposit requirement. Subsequently, we'll schedule a site visit for measurements and photo documentation. Depending on the project's requirements, we may also coordinate visits from tradespersons for estimating purposes.

Concept / Schematic Design
We conduct an interview with the client to further ascertain goals, preferences and requirements. Based on this information we'll develop schematic floor plan layouts to analyze the functional relationship between furniture, fixtures, equipment, along with mood / material boards, reference imagery, and a color palette. These elements will serve as guides for shaping the overall design concept.

Design Development
After the floor plan and conceptual design is approved, we will proceed with developing exterior elevations, finalizing interior and exterior finishes selection, and determining the appliances, hardware, plumbing and lighting fixtures selection. Additionally, we will delve into refining interior details such as kitchen cabinetry layout, bathroom arrangements, custom millwork, and stair details. During this phase, we will also prepare preliminary interior elevations to showcase cabinetry design, lighting placements, and tile installation details.

Construction Documentation
During this phase, we translate the creative vision into precise technical plans and specifications. This crucial stage involves developing detailed drawings and documents that guide contractors in bringing our designs to life. From floor plans and elevations to material specifications and construction details, every element is carefully documented to ensure accurate implementation. Our goal is to provide comprehensive instructions that guarantee seamless execution, ensuring spaces perfectly reflect our clients' aesthetic preferences and functional needs. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders ensures that every aspect is meticulously planned.

Construction Administration / Purchasing & Logistics
We work closely with contractors and craftsmen to ensure that our design vision is executed with precision and quality. This phase involves site visits, regular meetings with the construction team, and addressing any on-site challenges that may arise. We act as liaisons between our clients and the construction team, providing clarifications, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that the project stays on schedule and within budget. Our attention to detail and dedication to excellence during this phase ensure that the final result reflects our clients' vision and exceeds their expectations.
